Dusty Vogelpohl is an intellectual property attorney that provides solutions to any intellectual property issues that arise.  As a registered patent attorney, Dusty has experience in all aspects of patent law.  For example, he has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications; managing patent portfolios; and conducting patentability, freedom to operate, and infringement analyses.  Dusty also has extensive experience in patent litigation.  Such experience includes legal research, prior art investigations, legal filings, drafting claim charts, developing evidence, developing legal theories, drafting motions, attending hearings, participating in mediation proceedings, conducting negotiations, and preparing settlement agreements.  Dusty has also assisted in arguing before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Furthermore, Dusty has experience in other areas of intellectual property law.  He has assisted clients with numerous trademark issues.  Such representation includes conducting trademark clearance searches and analyses, prosecuting trademark applications, drafting cease and desist letters, negotiating trademark usage, and drafting trademark agreements.  Dusty also has experience preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and counseling clients on various intellectual property agreements.

Dusty has worked with a variety of technologies, including, for example: chemical compositions, pharmaceutical compositions, medical devices, medical treatments, medical administration, chemical diagnostic equipment, mining operations, oil well technologies, video compression, software, semiconductor devices, electrical devices, fire safety devices, aircraft displays, cell phone management systems and accessories, construction equipment, sports equipment, mechanical devices, HVAC equipment, energy system management systems, GPS systems, firearm technologies, and more.

Prior to joining Alliance IP, Dusty owned his solo IP practice, worked at an IP boutique, and practiced at some of the largest law firms in the United States.  Dusty’s clients have consisted of individual inventors and start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.
