Senior IP Paralegal
Katie brings 10 years of experience as a patent paralegal to Alliance IP. She has managed multi-national portfolios to assist clients in ensuring their inventions are protected in the US and abroad. She has assisted in every stage of patent prosecution, from client intake to annuity management. Katie has been praised by attorneys and clients for her professionalism, and for her ability to work under short deadlines.
Prior to joining Alliance IP, Katie worked with a Silicon Valley boutique law firm specializing in intellectual property. She began in the Client Services department, assisting attorneys both in-house and at the law firm, and soon moved to supporting the Managing Partner and one to two associates. She assisted with patent filings and prosecution for all types of clients, from Fortune 500 multi-national corporations to solo inventors.
Katie holds a B.A. in Sociology from the Ohio State University and a Certificate of Paralegal Studies from the ABA-approved program at De Anza College in Cupertino, California.
In her free time, Katie enjoys knitting, weaving, reading, and listening to classical music.
