Della Gonzales
Senior IP Paralegal
Della is a seasoned IP paralegal with over 20 years of experience. She assists Alliance IP in all phases of US and foreign patent prosecution, supporting attorneys in the preparation and filing of US and PCT international applications, including researching foreign filing license and first filing requirements.
Della also acts as a liaison between the attorneys and inventors, clients, and local agents in foreign jurisdictions to ensure that deadlines are met and filing formalities are complete. Della has additionally been instrumental in establishing and implementing robust workflows and training materials for new and current employees of the firm.
Della further supports all aspects of the firm’s trademark prosecution, as well as firm projects involving IP transactions, due diligence, and litigation.
Prior to joining Alliance IP, Della was a valued team member at some the nation’s largest and most sophisticated intellectual property practices servicing clients ranging from start-ups to small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
Della graduated from the University of New Orleans with dual degrees in political science and philosophy, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She has further completed the University of New Orleans’ ABA approved Paralegal Studies Program.
